And here I am. Time for the facebreak...personally, this is something that I have been considering for a long time. The same thought keeps occurring to me- in my going to be doing this for the rest of my life? How far does this go? And I keep coming to the inevitable conclusion that facebook is not something I want to do forever. There is just nothing to it. It was mainly a portal for me to communicate to Amelia, whom I chat with all day via google anyway, or by phone, or in person at home, or my brother and sister. Which can easily be replaced by skype and other tools.

Besides them, none of my "real" friends do much on fb. Everyone who posts on it are secondary and tertiary friends for whom I could not give a shit! I'm sorry! I don't care! We are letting this minutiae run our lives! Like Amelia said, it's all screensscreensscreens...

So yes, I will give up fb. Maybe permanently. I can't see a reason to be on it anymore.
